Greek mythology is arguably the most well-known mythologies in the modern world. Greek mythology is the body of myths and legends concerning Greek gods and heroes, the creation/nature of the world, and the legends about the deities. It features many gods, each representing a certain element (e.g. Poseidon the god of the sea). There are many types of Greek gods, such as Titans and Olympian Gods. Titans were the one of the first beings to exist in the Cosmos, or heaven, earth, and underworld. Olympian Gods were children of the Titans who were ordinary human beings with fluids racing through their veins called Ichor. Also, many creation theories have been proposed from generation to generation. However, the most popular theory is that the goddess Night, in the form of a huge black-winged bird, laid a silver egg, which hatched Eros, god of love. Eros also revealed the world, previously hidden within the egg. Generations passed, and there have been countless events such as the Titan War and the fall of the Titans. Greek mythology is an intriguing topic filled with many mysteries.
